Title: Visual Knowledge-drvien Natural Language Understanding and Applications Abstract: Visual Knowledge-Guided Natural Language Understanding is an emerging field in natural language processing. With the rise of multimodal data from platforms like Weibo and WeChat, the traditional text-based methods face new challenges. Humans naturally integrate visual and linguistic signals for deeper reasoning. In this talk, I will explore how visual content can enhance language understanding, focusing on cross-modal semantic perception, alignment, and reasoning. I also demonstrate its application in tasks such as fake news detection, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and sarcasm detection. |

Title:Robust Federated Intelligence with Self-Learning Abstract: Federated learning can collaboratively train AI models while protecting data privacy. In practical industry environment, Non-IID characteristics of data affect the effectiveness of federated learning. And also, security attacks may course serious problems. Therefore, credible and robust federated intelligence is necessary. In this talk, a reinforcement learning based federated learning, and a hypernetwork based federated self-Learning (CFSL) will be discussed, where credible, personalized federated self-learning for Non-IID environment will be evaluted to show the effectiveness of credible federated intelligence. |

Title: Machine Learning and Causal Inference Abstract:As data-driven AI large models develop rapidly, it becomes particularly important to identify and pay attention to potential sensitive attributes in the learning dataset. However, this key issue is often overlooked. In this report, we propose a method called Object-Relational Causal Inference, which has excellent reusability and can effectively mine potential sensitive attributes. We also reveal the significant role of potential sensitive attributes in improving data fairness. Based on this, we elaborate on how this method addresses the challenges of potential discrimination issues. |
